Live Wedding Painting of Stephanie & Casey at Dennarque Estate Mount Wilson
Recently had the honour of painting for the wonderful Stephanie & Casey at the Dennarque Estate in Mount Wilson, which is near the Blue mountains NSW.
It was such a beautiful picturesque drive down from the central coast. Plenty of beautiful farm land and vistas to take in, probably part of the reason I love driving to weddings no matter the distance is just to see the beautiful scenes along the way.
Arriving at Mount Wilson is very beautiful experience, all of a sudden the landscape goes from typical Australian bush and rocks and then as you pull into the road leading to the mountain the entire scene changes to beautiful autumn trees in full golden and red glow.
(I come to find out later from the videographer on the day that the mountain has volcanic soil and allows these types of trees and flowers to really bloom, making that area super unique to the rest of the blue mountains. Don’t fact check me, this is just what I’m told … haha)
Felt so lucky to be there that time of year, you’ll get a great sense for it all in the video I’ll link below!
I arrived as I always do, early. Making sure I have time to walk the estate to see all it has to offer.
Stephanie had requested a more intermit and quiet moment for the painting scene, finding the specific groups of trees she talked about , it became so apparent that this would make for such a beautiful work of art.
The day was gorgeous, the autmn trees incredible and the night very cold! haha
Creating this work of art for the wonderful couple at such a gorgeous location that is rich with so much history (over 150 years old) was such an honour.
